GRETCHEN  HO- her full lips and piercing eyes  fashioned her to be the CHINOY pride. Every time she extends those lips, a mega watt smile shines upon us. And off-course those chinky eyes spur charm. Oh! a beautiful enchantress she will always be. She is a volleyball player of Ateneo Blue Eagles (FAB 5) before the Queen Eagle Alyssa Valdez.     She has this picture perfect and athletic style attitude pose that’s why she’s tough and buff. She is crazy, sexy and cool that’s why we can’t get enough of her.

She is witty, candid and insightful…. Her concepts and ideas on life have universality, intellectual and emotional appeal. She definitely is a combination of a great left and right brain…. But more so on the analytical task…. I vouch for her to be one of the role models in for Filipino Youth. Watch out for her more on ANC and ABS-CBN TV PATROL….

But to make an insight of it, the skills we learn in volleyball are serve, pass, set, attack, block and dig…… serve means to serve people in our own little way, pass means to pass on the message of hope when there is no hope, set means to set the stage for helping our friends in need, attack means to attack boredom, block means to block non-essentials in life like rumors and hypocrites and dig means to dig deeper the creativity inside of us…..

             After having been fascinated to the worlds of TELESERYES, KALYESERYE provides us a new sort of storyline and theme for young and old viewers. It’s quite apparent that the ALDUB NATION punctuated by its sharp sense of humor and spontaneity captures the Filipino nation. Alden Richards is so awesome and charming plus the chemistry of his partner, Yaya Dub who is lightly fascinating.

THE LOLAS which I may call the three’s company bringsunparalleled wisdom far and wide. Their teachings reached ethical and religious enlightenment during their times up to the present.They marvelously presented their teachings on youth and courtship which are often short but succinct to the point. With an overwhelmingly-formidable romance between Alden and Yaya Dub, there’s much learning in it which contains comprehensive course of life that provides us lesson on love for grandparents. It carves out a niche of its own as predominantly KALYESERYE which is exquisitely-delivered and virtually-impressive in a larger scale.

High hats for that phenomenal love team…. This is my form of support to my being a Filipino. Let us appreciate Filipino artistry……. For if not, no one else will!

     If painful episodes in life should come to teach us, let it enter our lives sooner than we think…. for it equips us with intelligent perspective in life, emphatic views on people and deeper point of view on events… as C.S Lewis intuited, “Pain insists upon being attended to. God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks in our consciences, but shouts in our pains. It is his megaphone to rouse a deaf worlds….
