As Pope Francis said with all his love and spirit, learn how to weep,
YOU CANNOT BE GOOD CHRISTIANS IF YOU DO NOT CRY….

This is an invaluable lesson I must re-learn over and over. Crying is good, cry if you need to….. shed tears, outpour your anguish and sorrow, otherwise you’re not really good Christians if you don’t know how to cry….
Within the same context, YOUNG PEOPLE SHOULD LEARN WHEN TO CRY AND WHEN TO LAUGH AND WHAT IS WORTH CRYING ABOUT
AND LAUGHING ABOUT……

In its broadest sense, Pope Francis delivers a message so deep and profound which calls forth empathy. People nowadays lack empathy and their compassion for those who suffer is so empty. We must learn how to comfort the afflicted and afflict the comforted. It is through learning to cry with them and learning to weep with those who carry heavy loads….. only then can we understand what they are coming from…….

Thus, I am a big believer that, …… until we suffer, we can never truly understand the sufferings of others. Until we fail, we can never truly understand the shame of others. Until we are frustrated, we can never truly understand the loneliness of others. Until we lose someone, we can never truly understand the grief of others.

Until we are rejected, we can never truly understand the bitterness of others. Until we are being judged and put down, we can never truly understand the dismay of others. Until we are betrayed, we can never truly understand the anger of others. Until we are attacked, we can never truly understand the fear of others. Until we are hurt, we can never truly understand the hurt of others.
Moreso, I salute Pope Francis, a very selfless individual and godly human being for having said those words when he visited my beloved country, Philippines…… you really are a true gem…… and may you always touch people’s hearts just like what you did to us Filipinos….
